Personal information handling
In order to meet their undertakings as per the pensions administration agreement with employers within the local government section and as per insurance policy agreements, the various companies in the KPA group need to process personal information. The handling of personal information is accomplished according to the personal information act (PuL) and internal KPA rules about secrecy and professional confidentiality. Internal secrecy rules are very strict in regard to the processing of personal information, and within the company employees only have access to the information they need for the task in question.
The personal information act, which is based on an EU directive, is designed to protect people from any violation of their personal integrity during the handling of personal information. The act includes rules to the effect that those processing personal information shall inform those affected by said processing.
Copyright
KPA Internet pages and the KPA brand name and logotype are protected by the rule of copyright. It is permissible however, to copy KPA Internet pages for purposes other than commercial use. On the other hand, altering said pages is prohibited. Nor is it permitted to use the KPA brand name or logo in any circumstances without KPA’s expressed approval.
